Born in Berlin, Germany in 1916 Sarah is now struggling with immortality. She’s on the wrong side of ninety but still appears to be twenty two – a beautiful twenty two. She hasn’t really had time to reap the rewards of long life, instead she’s spent the last seventy years on the run – mostly to protect her two sons – Mark and Nikola, conjoined twins – with aging problems of their own.

Taken in by the Nazi’s for subversive behavior,she would have been executed and was awaiting trial when Flynn chose her for his research. Being selected for the experiments saved her life but insured that she could never return to her old one.

That was over seventy years ago and now she lives to hunt.

A highly respected and skilled surgeon who put all that behind him and decided to follow the money while discovering how much he enjoyed the power that torturing others gave him.

Also the father of Nikola and Mark.

Taken in by the Nazi’s for being homosexual. He was turned in by his mother who was deeply religious and also a devoted Fascist. She believed that imprisonment would cure or kill him.

He is a pacifist and finds it difficult to reconcile his need to survive and his aversion to killing.

Birth name Marlena. That changed when she saw Rita Hayworth in “Gilda.” A natural born huntress who enjoys every bite.

Birth name Hans but took the name Buddy after seeing Buddy Holly in concert. Misses the 1950s. Happy to let Rita put the “food” on the table.

Nikola (Glasses) and Mark, Sarah’s twin sons. Their teenage years long behind them, they are desperate to leave the nest and see the world – especially the female side.

The Multimillionaire whose thirst for immortality or anything close to it, began the nightmare. In the late 1930s he obsessed about death and how much more money he could make if only he had the time. His close ties to Hitler and funds make Dr. Flynn’s experiments possible but both men will get more than the results they had anticipated.

When the German government began the campaign against its Jewish citizens most of the twenty-thousand Afro-German population was subjected to some of the same punishments.

Hans was in his late teens when he was sterilized and warned sex with any German woman was forbidden. Arrested shortly after under suspicion of violating the law he was chosen by Flynn to see what if any differences the experiments would have on other races.

Arrested by the Nazi’s along with many members of his Gypsy tribe, he has no idea of what happened to the others after he was taken by Flynn for the experiments.

He has wondered all these decades about those who “murdered” him and his friends all those years ago and if they too have survived.
